Parvului Gorge



The Natural Reservation Pravului Gorge

Reservation description and importance:
- geological; it has a spectacular scenery, modeled in limestone; it conserves a great diversity of plants, declared natural monuments.


Protection provided:
The actual state of the reservation can be appreciate as being satisfactory, this because of the relative little touristical pressure, the big distance from the urban centers, the acces difficulties for reaching the reservation. The security is assured by the forestry agent.



Flora description:
The flora contains interference of beech (Fagus silvatica) and evergreen oak (Quercus petraea) forest. Here can be found the following endemic species: Papucul doamnei (Cypripendium calceolus L.), Dianthus kitaibelii ssp. Spiculifolius, Hepatica transsilvanica.













Including the reservation in local and general economic interests:
Due to the the separate position and the steep slope, Pravului Gorge is a touristical objective less visited by tourists.
