The Nautical Club of Mytilini, fosters the sport of water polo since 1932. So far they have come from the ranks of notable athletes and members of society, and occasionally groups of N.O.M. starring in national competitions. The 1970s can be described as 'golden period' in the men's team to play and starring in the First National League.
The last two years has begun an organized effort to revive the group and the first results are very encouraging. The men's team won the period 2005 - 2006 the rise of the U.S. National Team and group mini-boys finished seventh in the national championship!
