Aiantas Mytilinis (HandBall)

The Cultural and Sports Club “Aiantas” (Ajax) is active in the sport of handball (Hunt-bowl) having involvement in the year 2008-9, in A2 National Women League, in B National Mens League and all age categories (teen, boys, girls , girls etc) , having three (3) reputable coaches who are working towards the development and creation of academies.
Although the club was founded in 1997, 2003 was a milestone in history. Just over a year were created and staffed all the parts came with the first success of the MINI team of girls in the final phase of the National Championships in June 2004.
Since then the success is constant and even more significant. The club has been placed high in national championships, reaching up to fifth place in the final stages, has become the first force in the Aegean winning almost every tournament both age and the men and women. And the success continued with the rise of both men and women in national categories (A2 national class B to women and ethnic males), being the only club in all sports from the department of Lesvos who manages it.
