His Life
•Born 30. April 1777 in Braunschweig
•Mathematican, astronomer, geodesist and physcist
•Only son of Gerhard Dietrich and Dorothea Gauß
•Lived in poor conditions
•Because of his extraordinary ability and intelligence he got a scholarship with 14 years from duke “Carl Wilhelm Ferdinand von Braunschweig“ for the university of Göttingen
•On october 1805 he got married to Johanna Elisabeth Rosina Osthoff who died 1809 after getting her 3 child with Friedrich
•Just 1 year later Friedrich married Friederica Wilhelmine the best friend of his previous wife
•Friedrich died with 78 year on the 23 february 1855 in Göttingen
Achievements
•Artificer of the “Gausssche Normalverteilung“
and the „Fundamental theorem of Algebra“
•Constructor of the magnetometer
and the first electromagnetically telegraphyconnection
•Honoring is works Gauß got printed on the last “D-Mark”
